Pop-Up Flavour Fun

Collagen Co brought a playful pop-up experience to Chadstone, transforming a 3x4m ground-floor space into an interactive tasting zone.

Visitors were invited to explore Collagen Co’s flavours while engaging with a hands-on activity that encouraged fun and discovery. The pop-up was strategically positioned so that people from the top level could see what was happening on the floor below, drawing curiosity and foot traffic.

By integrating the brand’s wellness focus with a collaboration with Streets Ice Cream, the activation blended indulgence and engagement in a way that felt light, interactive, and memorable. It created a small, immersive moment in the shopping centre that delighted visitors and encouraged participation.

What the client needed

Collagen Co wanted a pop-up that would attract attention, increase brand awareness, and create a memorable, interactive experience.

The space needed to allow customers to taste the product, vote for their favourite flavour, and leave with a chance to win a free tin. They also wanted to showcase the collaboration with Streets Ice Cream, connecting wellness with indulgence.

Functionally, the space had to facilitate easy interaction, including a tasting counter, voting activity, and clear flow for visitors. Being visible from the top level was also important to draw in passersby and maximise engagement with shoppers on multiple floors.

Sweet Meets Wellness

We wanted the pop-up to feel playful and interactive while highlighting Collagen Co’s flavours in a tangible and memorable way.

The concept focused on taste and choice, giving visitors an immediate, hands-on way to engage with the product. The compact space meant every element had to be carefully considered. The counter was designed to welcome interaction, the tasting station was simple yet fun, and the voting mechanic was created to feel like an enjoyable game that encouraged participation.

The orange and green balls represented each flavour, allowing customers to place their vote in their own cylinder tube. This gave people a sense of ownership over their experience and created a visible, interactive element that naturally drew curiosity from other shoppers. The pop-up was positioned on the ground floor where shoppers from above could see the activity, adding to the buzz and attracting more visitors. The collaboration with Streets Ice Cream added a playful and indulgent twist, making the experience both memorable and shareable.

How we activated

The pop-up featured a central counter where visitors could sample Collagen Co’s flavours.

Customers scanned a code to taste and then voted for their favourite by placing either an orange ball for the Weis flavour or a green ball for the Splice flavour into their own cylinder tube, which acted as a vote counter. A slim signboard clearly explained how the activity worked, making it easy for visitors to participate and understand the process. This tactile interaction made the tasting experience fun and memorable.

The pop-up highlighted the collaboration with Streets Ice Cream, integrating their products to create an indulgent twist on the wellness brand. Staff guided visitors through the tasting, ensuring a smooth flow and encouraging engagement. Being visible from the top level of Chadstone meant the activity attracted attention from shoppers above, generating curiosity and drawing more people to the pop-up.

The cylinder tube counters created a playful visual representation of flavour preferences, and the chance to win a free tin added excitement. Every detail, from signage to layout, was planned to maximise interaction, create a fun atmosphere, and leave visitors with a positive, shareable experience.
