What's the tea you say?

For Monista’s first retail pop-up, we focused on creating a visually engaging and functional environment that allowed visitors to explore the brand seamlessly. Arch walls in the client’s brand colours added elevation and created a striking backdrop that enhanced the overall presence of the stand. Gold leaf branding on the Dice fixtures, paired with lollipop signage, highlighted Monista’s logo and key messaging, reinforcing the premium feel of the brand.

The layout maximised the versatility of six Dice fixtures, creating distinct zones tailored to the customer journey. These included a sampling station surrounded by product, a dedicated gift pack area, and a payment station. Each zone was carefully positioned to encourage exploration and interaction while maintaining smooth traffic flow. The result was a cohesive, functional, and visually appealing retail experience that allowed Monista to showcase its products effectively, engage visitors meaningfully, and create a strong first impression in an offline setting.

What client needed

Monista is a boutique tea brand, hand-blended in Melbourne using the finest ingredients sourced from around the world. The client required a stand that combined elegance with functionality, providing space for product sampling and display while offering ample storage to support on-site sales. It was essential that the design reflected the premium quality of the Monista brand, creating a visually appealing environment that attracted customers. At the same time, the layout needed to be practical and easy to navigate, ensuring a seamless experience for both staff and visitors. The result was a stand that balanced style and usability perfectly.

Pop, Pour, Repeat

Our Dice Cubes proved to be the ideal solution for this activation. Their vibrant colours and 360-degree signage made the stand visually engaging from every angle, while the generous storage and versatility allowed them to function as both a product display and a sampling station. This flexibility was particularly valuable for the client, as it ensured the stand could accommodate different needs without compromising on style or functionality.

As this was the client’s first retail pop-up, measuring return on investment can be challenging — a common issue for online businesses venturing into offline activations. To maximise the impact of their budget, we adapted and customised elements from our hire pop-up range, creating a solution that felt bespoke while remaining cost-effective. The end result was a visually striking, practical, and adaptable activation that allowed the brand to engage directly with customers, showcase products effectively, and create a memorable in-person experience.

How We Activated

For this activation, we used arch walls in the client’s brand colours to complement the Dice Cubes and create both elevation and a visually striking backdrop. The arches added dimension to the space and helped draw attention to the key areas of the activation, enhancing the overall brand presence.

To further reinforce the brand identity, we incorporated gold leaf branding on the Dice fixtures and added printed lollipop signage featuring the logo and highlighting the client’s key offerings. These elements provided consistency across the stand and made the branding memorable for visitors.

The client maximised the potential of six versatile Dice fixtures by arranging the floor plan strategically. The setup included a sampling station surrounded by product displays, a dedicated gift pack station, and a payment station. This thoughtful layout ensured smooth traffic flow, encouraged interaction with the brand, and created an engaging, functional, and visually cohesive retail experience that successfully showcased both the products and the brand identity.
