We partnered with Sodii once again to bring their 6 x 3 stand back to life at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre for the Australian Fitness Show.
Building on a previous execution, the stand was reintroduced with a strong and recognisable presence, designed to stand out within a busy exhibition environment.
The goal was to create a space that not only attracted attention but also encouraged meaningful interaction with the brand. With a focus on clarity, flow, and impact, the stand delivered a confident and energetic presence that aligned with Sodii’s positioning within the competitive fitness industry.
What the client needed
The client required a refreshed execution of their existing 6 x 3 stand that could perform strongly within the high-traffic environment of the Australian Fitness Show.
The space needed to be visually impactful while remaining clean and easy to navigate, allowing visitors to engage with the brand and its products effortlessly.
It was important that the stand maintained strong brand recognition while feeling elevated and considered. Additionally, the design needed to be practical for a fast-paced exhibition setting, supporting both staff interaction and product display, while ensuring a seamless setup within the constraints of the venue.
Design That Moves
We approached the project by considering how to evolve the existing stand while maintaining the brand’s recognisable identity. Rather than reinventing the design, we focused on refining key elements to create a stronger visual impact and a more seamless user experience.
We looked at how layout, sightlines, and product placement could work together to draw people in and guide movement naturally through the space. The goal was to strike a balance between bold branding and functional clarity, ensuring the stand felt energetic without becoming overwhelming.
We also considered the fast-paced nature of the Australian Fitness Show, designing a space that could handle high foot traffic while still allowing for meaningful engagement.
By keeping the structure clean and the messaging clear, we ensured that Sodii’s products remained the hero, supported by a cohesive and confident visual environment.
How we activated
The Sodii 6 x 3 stand was brought to life at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre through a clean and efficient build that maximised both visibility and functionality.
The bulkhead and signboard logos were updated, giving the branding a fresh and polished look that stood out on the show floor.
Product display was carefully considered, ensuring items were easily accessible and prominently featured, encouraging visitors to engage directly with the brand.
The open layout allowed for smooth movement throughout the space, supporting both casual browsing and more in-depth conversations with staff. Every element was executed with practicality in mind, allowing for a straightforward setup and pack-down while maintaining a high-quality finish.
The result was a confident and high-impact stand that performed effectively in a busy event environment, reinforcing Sodii’s presence within the fitness industry.
