Aussie Home Loans created a standout custom-built exhibition stand that captured attention across the Home Expo, Baby Expo, and Wedding Expo. Designed to resemble a classic Australian home, complete with a purple front door, picket fence, and manicured garden, the structure immediately drew visitors in.

A key feature of the activation was the interactive engagement mechanic. Visitors could pick a key from a bowl and try their luck at unlocking the front door. Those who succeeded revealed a prize, adding an element of excitement and reward.

The gamified experience encouraged foot traffic, sparked curiosity, and made the brand approachable. By turning a traditionally service-based offering into a tangible, playful experience, Aussie Home Loans demonstrated that even financial services can be engaging. Attention to detail in the build and the interactive element created a memorable activation, leaving visitors with a lasting connection to the brand.

What the Client Needed

The client approached us seeking a staffing solution to support their existing pop-up, which was dominated by banners and heavy text promoting multiple offers. While visually busy, the space lacked a clear and consistent message, making it difficult for visitors to understand the brand’s core purpose.

We identified the need to simplify communication and create a display that highlighted the client’s primary service: helping people get into their first home. By focusing on this key message, we were able to guide interactions, making it easier for staff to engage with visitors and for customers to quickly grasp the value being offered. The result was a more approachable, cohesive, and effective pop-up experience that clearly communicated the brand’s purpose while enhancing visitor engagement.

What We Thought

We decided that the most effective way to engage people on one of the most important decisions of their lives, buying a home, was to tell a story. The narrative focused on the journey of owning your own home and how Aussie Home Loans could guide and support customers to achieve that goal. By framing the service within a relatable story, we were able to create an emotional connection and make the brand approachable.

Building trust is key when discussing home loans, and meaningful conversations are essential. To facilitate this, we designed an inviting prop that captured attention, sparked curiosity, and acted as a conversation starter. The interactive element encouraged visitors to engage with brokers naturally, breaking the ice and creating a comfortable space to discuss their needs.

How We Activated
